Service Description
In order for the IAA to issue a PPL(A) license, an applicant must have passed all ground examinations set and corrected by the Irish Aviation Authority. They comprise of 9 multiple-choice style examinations over four core subjects. In preparation for the examinations, student must undergo 80 hours of classroom teaching relating to four core subjects. The pass mark is 75% and a failure to achieve this mark will require a re-sit. All subjects must be passed in a 12-month period after passing the first subject and the flight test must be completed within 24 months of the completions of all examinations. The subjects are: 1. Air Law: • P10 Air Law 2. Human Performance and Limitation • P20 Human Performance and Limitation 3. Flight Performance and Planning • P30 Meteorology • P40 Communication • P50 Flight Performance and Planning • P60 Navigation 4. Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please give us 24 hours of advanced notice, to ensure that we can reschedule your service. If less than 24 hours of notice is given, we will not be able to reschedule your service and your deposit will be used to cover the expense of staffs. If however, you would like to cancel your service, you must cancel 1 week prior to your appointment or else we will not be able to provide a refund on the deposit. However, we reserve the right to cancel and postpone your booking with us due to restricting weather conditions or intolerable behavior.
